New Years Eve collection raisies £1,500 for Sue Ryder

25 January 2010

Thank you to Kevin Rockhead from the Sue Ryder shop in Camden for organising a collection on New Years Eve. One of our Sue Ryder runners, Eamon Sexton, managed to rasie £1,500 towards his fundraising target for the Virgin London Marathon.

Generously giving up his New Years Eve to stand with a Sue Ryder collection bucket at the Pitcher and Piano in Angel and braving the cold, Eamon made a a great start to his fundriaising. He couldn't have done it without the help of Kevin - Duty Manager at the Camden shop, who helped arrange the collection.

Collections are a fantastic way of raising money for charity and if you would like to organise your own please contact Gabriela on 02074920743 or email gabriela.potworowska@sueryder.org

Thank you again to Kevin and Eamon for raising such a fantastc amount of money for Sue Ryder
