John Lewis Partnership

3 December 2009

We are delighted to say that in 2009 John Lewis Reading chose us for their Charity of the Year.  They have been engaged in numerous fundraising activities for us, including our Dragon Boat Race and our Ride for Ryder Bike Challenge.

They also organised a variety of in-house activities such as a Partners Bingo Night and a Quiz Night as well as sponsoring our Nettlebed Hospice promotional video and supporting our Lights of Love Service by donating some beautiful decorations.

A group of Partners also volunteered at the Hospice to help reorganise our basement area. This has enabled us to work more efficiently and everyone had a great day out, learning more about our work and the Hospice.

They have been incredibly successful at raising a tremendous amount in aid of Sue Ryder.

It's a pleasure to work with such a professional organisation and we've also made some great friends too.  We want to thank them for all their amazing support and dedication, which has helped the Hospice in a vast array of ways that have benefited all aspects of our operation.

We will be keeping in touch with everyone and look forward to continuing our partnership with them into the future.

John Lewis
