Royal Sun Alliance, an insurance company based in Lynchwood, Peterborough, raised over £200 for the event, which saw staff members dance to ‘Thriller’, by Michael Jackson. Spectators paid £1 to watch the dance, which was declared a success by the company.
Emma Long, Fundraiser at Sue Ryder-Thorpe Hall Hospice said: “This is a fantastic amount of money to be raised through a fundraising event such as this. The money raised will go directly to vital funds needed for patient care. As a charity we need to raise £1million a year, and events like this are a fantastic way of doing so.”
