Sue Ryder is urging people to take part in their ‘unity lottery’ scheme-giving you the chance to win a jackpot of up to £25,000. The scheme is to raise money for Sue Ryder-Thorpe Hall Hospice, and only costs £1 a week. For every £1 entry, 50p is donated to the hospice, and in return participants get a six digit number.
The lucky winners will be drawn every Saturday and prize cheques will be sent out directly by post. There are prizes for 3, 4, 5 and all 6 numbers. The money raised for the hospice will go directly to helping to raise the £1million needed for patient care each year. By taking part in the lottery each week, you will be helping us by giving regular funds to the charity.
Fundraiser at Thorpe Hall Natalie Riddler said “This is a lottery with a difference. Not only will you be giving yourself a chance to win a prize, but you will be helping people who really need it. For every 12 people who sign up to the lottery scheme, we can pay for another 24hours of patient care for a person who is affected by the illnesses that we care for.”
