Aberdeen Midnight Walk

Finish line10 September 2009

On Saturday 5 September 81 women took part in the first Midnight Walk in Aberdeen.

In just 1 ½ hours our first few ladies crossed the finish line after completing the 10k course with the final walkers finishing in just over 2 hours.  Each walker was rewarded with a goody bag and well deserved breakfast.  It was a great night and the weather held up making it a lovely evening for a walk along the beach front!

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part and supported our services at Dee View Court; the walkers, marshals and volunteers who all made Saturday a night to remember.  We are already looking forward to next year.
