Staff are keen to meet you and show you around the Grade II listed neurological care centre in Ipswich.
The Chantry, one of four Sue Ryder centres dedicated to providing care for people with neurological conditions, is holding an open day on Thursday 20th September 2018.
At the Chantry, we offer a huge range of support, from long-term residential care in our 30-bed listed building, set in over 100 acres of beautiful parkland, to day services so people can remain independent at home. And our rehabilitative services can help people to improve or regain their abilities.
The Chantry is holding an Open Day on Thursday 20th September between 10.00am and 5.00pm, during which everyone in the local Ipswich area is welcome to come along the open day week and discover more about life at The Chantry.
On the day, you will be able to:
- Take part in a guided tour of the centre:
There’s no better way to discover what somewhere is like than by seeing it yourself. This is a very special opportunity to look around the centre and to see how it works on a day-to-day basis. The tour is free of charge but places are limited, so please contact Lilly Pearce to book your place by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01473 295 200.
- Learn more about the different services on offer:
Did you know that as well as providing specialist care to our centre residents, we also offer many other services to help people living with neurological conditions? One of those is our Day Service – this can support people in maintaining their independence, and help them to build their confidence and skills. Come along on the day and discover what else is on offer.
- Meet key members of the team and find out what it would be like to volunteer or work with us:
Always wondered about volunteering? Ever considered what a day in the life of a Sue Ryder Nurse might involve? Then this is your chance to meet some of our expert (and very friendly) team to find out more about what life is like on staff at The Chantry.
