Remember a Charity in Your Will Week 2018 has created a human search engine to help users find the answers to life's biggest questions - and to show them how leaving a gift in their will can help them find answers.
We understand that gifts in wills are a personal matter, but together with the other 200 charities who are a part of Remember a Charity in Your Will Week, we’re encouraging more people to remember a charity in their will, once they’ve looked after their family and friends.
The vital work that charities do often relies on gifts in wills, but for most people, they simply aren’t aware of this form of giving.
Remember a Charity in Your Will Week is a time each September that aims to raise awareness of gifts in wills and help ensure the work of charities lives on.
How does a leaving a legacy or gift in will help Sue Ryder?
Every day, staff and volunteers at Sue Ryder hospices across the UK are helping patients and their families through the most difficult and frightening of times, and legacies help us to provide 22 hospice beds a year.
Along with expert medical care, there is also love and laughter. There are overnight stays, gentle walks in the garden, pets visiting from home, and plenty of tea and understanding; even the occasional wedding.
So if you’re considering supporting a cause you care about, we’d love you to consider us.

What's the Human search engine?
Remember a Charity has launched Human – the world’s first charity-powered search engine where the charities involved have selected the big questions most important to their supporters and beneficiaries, and recorded their responses as short videos.
Visitors to Human can explore these videos, discovering real answers to over 100 questions. They demonstrate how the public can find these answers to the big questions through supporting charities by leaving a gift in their Will.
