Record breaking team present £120,000 to Thorpe Hall Hospice

Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Progressive Property Fundraising

Staff at Thorpe Hall Hospice were only too pleased to welcome the team from Progressive Property who dropped in with a cheque for almost £120,000 – one of the biggest company donations the hospice has ever received.

The Peterborough-based property entrepreneurs smashed a world record by presenting to an audience for 117 hours and 30 minutes non-stop, on the subject of property investment.

Through the sale of tickets and donations from supporters the business raised enough money to pay for three hospice nurses for an entire year, plus 300 hours of support for patients’ families.

Partners Rob Moore and Mark Homer, directors and co-founders of Progressive Property, visited our hospice to hand over the money. And while they were here they met staff and spent time with a patient, finding out first hand just how important the hospice’s care is.
