- increase public affection for Sue Ryder
Our business development programme
Sue Ryder is well positioned to lead the future development of palliative and end of life care in your health community.
In April 2011, NHS Berkshire West outsourced its entire specialist palliative care services to us. The provision included a hospice, hospice-at-home, outpatient clinics and day therapy units in the region.
24-hour palliative care and support
In December 2011, we launched our PEPs service, co-ordinating 24-hour palliative care and support throughout Bedfordshire.
This service ensures round-the-clock access to symptom control, nursing care and specialist advice, providing high quality care in the community.
Commissioned by NHS Bedfordshire, we offer patients, families, carers and health and social care professionals a single point of contact for support, advice and assessment.
And care in the patient's place of choice.
Our services significantly reduce inappropriate acute hospital admissions.
We also have a track record in developing innovative solutions for people with complex needs at home, in community care and in residential care.
If you have a disease such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, dementia or Huntingdon’s disease, we may have a range of solutions for you.
Our 5Rs programme offers bespoke rehabilitation for survivors of stroke and service users with multiple sclerosis, and we can also help local health authorities and social services plan and deliver services for their service users.
We relish the chance to work in partnership and have a strong team of project managers across the UK. This means that we can develop a concept, plan the design and see this through to reality. On time and within budget.
