Jackie is an incredibly dedicated and enthusiastic member of the Stagenhoe team. She started volunteering with Sue Ryder in 2011 and formed a close friendship with James, one of the residents. After he sadly passed away, Jackie chose to continue volunteering, even though the death of her friend affected her very deeply. It is clear to see that she has formed strong bonds with many of the residents and that she enjoys her time in their company.
Jackie co-ordinates activities, coffee mornings and crafts sessions, helps organise summer fetes and Christmas fayres, and she is also happy to go out on trips with the residents - providing a personalised service which enables the residents to live how they want to.
Jackie is a fountain of knowledge and the person to go to with any questions about Stagenhoe. She is confident and well informed but also approachable and keen to help in any way she can - she deserves to be thanked for all her efforts and the impact she has had over the years.
