Sue Ryder Volunteer Awards 2014

A night of celebration

Sue Ryder held its Incredible Volunteer Awards at Speaker’s House at the House of Commons on Tuesday 21st October 2014.

Combined with the charity’s first ever staff awards, the ceremony recognised the amazing commitment of individuals and teams across the charity. In the prestigious surroundings the day was also a celebration of the 11,000 volunteers who give their time and skills to support Sue Ryder throughout the UK every day.

Tracey Le Gallez, Sue Ryder’s Head of Volunteer Development and Engagement, presented awards to a winner and a highly commended individual or team in each of the five categories. Congratulations to every volunteer who received an award, and also to all those who were nominated by their volunteer managers and colleagues - the judges had all found it very difficult to choose between the nominations.
