06 July 2018
Start: Ben Nevis in Scotland, United Kingdom
National Three Peaks
The task is to climb the three highest peaks in the UK: Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Mount Snowdon in Wales in less than 24 hours.
This is considered a great challenge and should test your limits irrespective of whether you are a keen hill walker or simply wanting to push yourself beyond your previous boundaries. It is therefore a perfect challenge to fundraise for.
£50 could provide one session of bereavement counselling for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one, £135 could pay for a hospice nurse for a day; £500 could pay for a bed for a day of inpatient care for a patient at our Wheatfields Hospice.
Book early and join the tour operators Kuta Outdoors on FREE pre-season build up walks where you’ll get to meet your guides for the challenge. Starting in Leeds, the challenge heads to Scotland to commence climbing that afternoon, with the aim being to finish under 24 hours later in Wales before staying the night and returning to Leeds on the Sunday morning.
