Event details

  • Date: 30 September 2017
  • Location: Oxenhope Railway Station
  • Registration starts: 6pm on the night

Have a fantastic family night out under the stars on a walk through Oxenhope and surrounding villages, remembering loved ones and raising funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.

With a great route, new entertainment and featuring the incredible Starlight Express train ride - with thanks once again to Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - this is a night not to be missed!

What happens on the night?

Arrive in plenty of time to register and enjoy our entertainment area, where you’ll find music, stalls and refreshments available.

After warming up, you’ll board the Starlight Express train, which will transport you to the start of the walk.

You’ll then follow a safe, marshalled route around the surrounding villages of Manorlands, and pass through the hospice grounds, including the Starlight Avenue: a quiet area of reflection. Here, you’ll be able to display a star dedicated to your loved one.

There’ll be plenty to entertain you around the 10K route, and you’ll be treated to a snack bar and some water at the halfway point to keep you going.

Crossing the finishing line, you’ll be rewarded with a well-deserved bite to eat and goody bag, knowing you’ve done something incredible for local people living with life-changing illnesses.

Every penny raised through sponsorship will help us to continue to provide incredible hospice care to our patients and their families, both here at Manorlands and out in the local community.

Register until 31st July for an early bird price
