Event details

  • Date: 28 October 2017
  • Location: Cliffe Castle, Utley

Online entry to the Manorlands Halloween Monster Dash has now closed; however, we will be taking entries on the day tomorrow.

Those who wish to take part in the more family-friendly session at 6.30pm should arrive at Cliffe Castle, Keighley for 6.00pm. Those looking to do the more scary version should arrive at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.

The costs on the evening will be £15 for adults and £10 for under 18s.

Brand new for 2017 is the Manorlands Halloween Monster Dash, run in conjunction with our Riddlesden and East Morton Support Group.

As dusk falls on 28th October, the newly refurbished grounds of Cliffe Castle Museum will be transformed to become scarier than they've ever been before as hundreds of brave souls arrive to take on the Manorlands Halloween Monster Dash.

The rules

There will be two runs, a family-friendly session at dusk and a more scary session for over-12s and adults when it gets dark.

Participants who arrive dressed in their best Halloween fancy dress will be given a complementary head torch on arrival before setting off on a 1 mile route that circles the darkest and spookiest parts of the historical Keighley Museum's estate.

Spooky atmosphere guaranteed

To add to the scary environment, Halloween-themed lighting, music, sounds, props and actors will be lining the route in order to scare and entertain participants, who will be challenged to do as many 1 mile laps of the grounds as they dare in 45 minutes.

Finishers will receive a Monster Dash medal and the pride of knowing that they dared to be scared at the Manorlands Halloween Monster Dash!
