Our Ride for Ryder annual cycling event has taken on a new feel and routes for 2016!

Supported by British Cycling the new Ride for Ryder Sportive offers a fun event for all with safe signed routes around Gloucestershire’s glorious countryside, all in support of local hospice care.

Starting and finishing from top class sporting facilities at Dean Close school in Cheltenham we’re offering a choice of three sportive challenges – a 23km beginner route, 85km sportive for novice cyclists and 125km route offering a challenge for more experienced cyclists.

A ride for all abilities

Included in your registration fee is a welcome pack with registration and rider support from our partners British Cycling, fully signed route with feed station, medical and mechanical support and a finisher’s medal.

We offer the only specialist hospice care inpatient unit in the county alongside our Day Hospice and Hospice at Home services. Your entry fee covers the cost of operating the event, but it’s your vital sponsorship money that helps us to support people at a time they need it most.

This year all riders raising over £50 will receive a special commemorative T-shirt post event while those raising over £75 a Ride for Ryder cycling jersey. Both are being exclusively designed by local fashion designer, Melissa Antonious.

Age restrictions
Please be aware that we can only accept registrations for those over 14 years of age at the time of the event.
