Scottish Mascot Gold Cup

This year sees the second annual Scottish Mascot Gold Cup which will be held at Musselburgh Race Course as part of thier annual family day.

Hilarious footage of the Inaugural Scottish Mascot Gold Cup can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-48Uy77lCss Whether you are a professional mascot or just someone who is game for a laugh, this is the event for you.

The race is run along one furlong (220 yards) in front of the grandstand.  There will be much hilarity as the mascots hurdle, stumble and fall over the six small fences and head for a photo finish.

As well as big, cuddly, professionally made costumes we will also be inviting individuals and companies to make their own mascot based on our 2011 theme.  So if you fancy chasing a haggis down the track at Musselburgh then get that papier mache out.

If you've not got your own costume and don't fancy making one, get in touch with us and we'll see if we can help.

Entry costs £25 per mascot and for that you recieve two complementary race day tickets.  Further tickets for 'mascot supporters' can be purchased at half price rate in advance.  Order form will be sent once you enter.  Under 16s are admitted free with an adult.
