The Great Wall of China

Now it's your turn to patrol the Great Wall of China!

With steep staircases and crumbling watch towers, this demanding trek is also highly rewarding with its fantastic views all along the Wall.

One of the great monuments of the world, the Great Wall of China stretches for more than 8000 km across northern China. The Great Wall grips the popular imagination like nothing else

The trek is a true challenge: it involves six consecutive days' walking on the wall.  Each day you will trek for between 5-8 hours along winding pathways in amongst beautiful mountains and breathtaking ravines, interspersed with crumbling watchtowers.

Please note that you will need to raise 80% of the fundraising (£2400) by 15 August 2012. Please only Sign up if you can do this.

Please note, there are no more places available on the 2012 Great Wall of China trek. We do now have places to trek Machu Picchu in Peru
