We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

The challengeThe largest UK 10k run with 34,000 entrants this race has grown in prestigue since its launch in 2003.

The race starts and finishes in the city centre and takes in sights including Old Trafford and the Bridgewater Hall.

One of the most popular 10k runs in the world, this race attracts every kind of runner. From the complete beginner to world class athletes including Haile Gebrselassie who won the Great Manchester Run for the third time in 2010 in an amazing 28 minutes and two secs. A great run in its own right but it can also be used for a training run for longer runs such as the Great North Run.
