The popularity of the Great North Run grows and grows because of the tremendous support runners receive along the course.
Thousands of spectators line the 13.1 mile course starting in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and finishing in South Shields, home of the charity village. If that isn’t enough there’s even an air display by the famous Red Arrows.
This year we have more places than ever before and are really excited to see more amazing Sue Ryder supporters striding through the streets of the North East. But don’t take our word for it, experience the world’s biggest half marathon yourself.
