Congratulations to all our amazing Sue Ryder runners who completed the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 01 April. We met many of you afterwards at the finish tent and it was lovely to hear how enthusiastic you felt about the whole day.

We were proud to be an official charity for the 2012 Reading Half Marathon for the third year and are well on our way to raising a fantastic £27,000 for Sue Ryder which is enough to run the local Sue Ryder Nettlebed Hospice for up to a week.

If you are interested in taking part in the 2013 Reading Half Marathon, please register your interest with us by filling out this form.

Like any of our runners you will receive the following:

  1. A training guide, welcome pack and a Sue Ryder running vest
  2. Regular contact with your local fundraiser to help you with fundraising support and advice
  3. A mid-way workshop where you can hear from a personal trainer and nutritionist as well as the opportunity to meet other Sue Ryder runners
  4. An enthusiastic cheering squad on the day and post race celebrations!
