Mind Your Own Business

In this half of school year Sue Ryder – Wheatfields Hospice is looking to introduce a new scheme into schools called ‘Mind Your Own Business’.   The initiative is designed to develop the students’ interest and skills in business enterprise whilst raising money for Wheatfields Hospice.

‘Mind Your Own Business’ is an enterprise scheme aimed at year 6 students or year 12 students. The scheme involves the class splitting up in to groups and each one receiving a start up investment from Sue Ryder.  Their challenge would be to create their own business and make that investment grow over the remainder of the year, whilst having lots of fun and developing their skills.

Initially we would look to come into your school  and deliver 3 sessions to introduce the scheme to the students and teachers, explain about the work that Sue Ryder do and to kick start the enterprise process.

If you're a teacher (or know someone who is) and would some more information please contact Joseph Bland at Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.
