About Dee View Court

At Dee View Court, we provide 24-hour support to people living with complex needs and neurological conditions, such as:

  • multiple sclerosis
  • acquired brain injury
  • cerebral palsy
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Huntington's disease
  • motor neurone disease

We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for our residents where they can live life as fully and independently as possible. And where staff are trained and equipped to provide quality care and support.

Located in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen, Dee View Court is placed within the local community, making it easy to visit local shops.

Our purpose-built care centre has two types of house available:

  • five houses with four bedrooms each
  • one house with two bedrooms

All houses have access from a wide internal street.
All 22 bedrooms are single with their own toilet and shower.

We want residents to feel at home in their rooms, so we encourage residents to bring or add small pieces of furniture, pictures, photos and ornaments, as well as own bedding, etc. We have call systems in each house, meaning you can talk to a nurse if you need to.

Within our centre we have the following facilities:

  • Craft room
  • Music room
  • Physiotherapy department
  • Hydrotherapy pool

Independent Specialist Care Awards - Brain injury rehabilitation nomination

Sue Ryder Dee View Court was shortlisted in the 2013 Independent Specialist Care Awards.

Dee View Court was nominated in the ‘Brain Injury Rehabilitation Category’. which recognises excellence in the provision of brain injury rehabilitation services. Effectiveness in terms of specified outcome measures is a key consideration for this award.

The Independent Specialist Care Awards showcases the very best in private and voluntary sector providers working in the provision of social care services for adults with learning or physical disabilities or mental health conditions.

The award ceremony, hosted by LaingBuisson, was held in London on 12th March 2013.
