What is the food like?
Our catering team serves a choice of freshly prepared hot and cold meals three times a day and caters for all dietary requirements. In between meal times the team will prepare light snacks and, if you have a particular meal in mind, please just ask and they will do their best to make it for you.
Breakfast options include:
The fridge in each patient room is kept stocked with bottles of water and has room for you to store food from home if you would like.
Two course meals include a meat and vegetarian option, which could be:
- Cooked breakfast with sausages, eggs and beans
- Lamb hotpot
- Cottage pie
- Vegetable chow mein
- Beef casserole
- Cod and chips
- Vegetable pasty
- Roast pork
- Macaroni and broccoli cheese
- All served with vegetables and potatoes
Desserts served regularly include:
- Syrup sponge and custard
- Fruit crumble
- Strawberry mousse
- Chocolate crunch
We also have available a range of other options including sandwiches, soup, salads, jacket potatoes, omelettes and snacks.
