Thorpe Hall Hospice provides palliative and end of life care for patients from across the Peterborough region.
If you are a patient or a family member:
As a hospice, we take referrals from healthcare professionals after it has been discussed fully with you and you have given your permission.
If you are wondering if an admission might be useful for you, please talk to your GP, hospital consultant or palliative care clinical nurse specialist who will be able to advise whether a referral to Thorpe Hall would be right for you at this time.
We are always happy to welcome visitors to take a look around Thorpe Hall so you have all the information you need to make the right decision for you at the right time. If this is something you would like to do, please call us on 01733 225900 to make an appointment with our team.
If you are a GP, hospital consultant or palliative care community nurse specialist:

Requests for admission are reviewed by hospice staff at 9am and 2pm each day.
You will be contacted after that meeting so we can share the outcome with you.
If the referral is accepted, we will then discuss the process for admission with you and the time frame involved.
If you are seeking a same-day admission, please call the hospice on 01733 225 900 and ask to speak to one of the medical team. We will then ask you to fax over the referral form if appropriate.
