How your donation will help

You can choose if you would rather support Albania or Malawi, or whether you want your money to be sent to where the need is greatest.

Every penny of your donation will go directly to our healthcare programmes in Malawi or Albania. 

In Albania

• £13 could pay for a day of social work, helping a bereaved family to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.
• £21 could buy enough pain-relieving medication for one patient, enabling them to spend their final months in comfort and dignity.
• £254 could cover the cost of incredible care for one patient and their family, providing them with emotional support from a trained social worker and pain-relieving care from a team of doctors and nurses.

A regular donation to Albania could really help us to continue to be the leading provider of free, end of life care for children and adults with terminal cancer.

• £5 per month could cover the cost of one patient visit, providing incredible care and emotional support to someone with terminal cancer.
• £22 per month could help maintain and fuel our vehicles, which are essential for providing home-based care in remote areas.

In Malawi

• £10 could buy a standing frame to help a child with cerebral palsy improve their balance and mobility.
• £30 could train a community health volunteer, equipping them with the knowledge to support our medical teams, mobilise communities and increase local health awareness.
• £403 could cover the cost of our mobile health clinics for one day, providing essential healthcare to hundreds of children and adults with chronic conditions.

• £5 per month could pay for a lifetime of asthma drugs for one patient, enabling them to live productive lives and giving them a fighting chance to escape poverty.
• £22 per month could cover the cost of two clinic visits, which would bring expert medical care and life-changing drugs to hundreds of people.

Gifts in kind

Other things can be just as helpful as money. You or your business might be able to help by donating items in kind or providing pro bono expertise that could really benefit our work overseas.

For example,  in Malawi we currently need:

• Four wheel drive vehicles to support our mobile clinics
• Physiotherapists who are willing to volunteer for at least 6 months
• Mobility equipment and multi-sensory toys.
• Two digital cameras to improve the quality of our communication materials
