Free charity furniture collection

Looking to donate your unwanted furniture to charity? Type in your postcode to book your free charity furniture collection today and help us be there when it matters.

Items we can collect

Donate your unwanted furniture using our free furniture collection service. From sofas to tables and small electrical items, we will collect and then sell your items in our charity shops as long as they are in a saleable condition.

To keep our staff and customers safe, there are some items that we can’t accept. These include white goods, such as fridges or washing machines, as well as any furniture or homeware item without a fire safety label or instructions. If you want to check whether we can accept your donation, please read our full list of items we can’t accept.

Arrange your free furniture collection

Arrange your free furniture collection in a few quick steps:

  1. Enter your postcode and confirm your address.
  2. If we’re able to collect your unwanted furniture, you can complete the form to tell us more about what you’re donating (e.g. sofas or small electrical items) and choose an available date for when you’d like the collection to take place.
  3. Submit your request and we’ll get back to you confirming your collection date and details.

How your furniture donations help Sue Ryder

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
