How to apply
To apply, or for more information about volunteering with Sue Ryder as an individual, you can:
We'll ask you to complete an application form and once processed you'll be invited to an informal interview. This helps us make sure that your time and skills are used to benefit both of us.
We'll take up two references, and due to the nature of our work, a criminal records check may be required (at no cost to you) for some volunteer positions.
You may then be offered a trial session or a start date.
For some roles you'll need to attend mandatory training before you can start. This is for your own safety, that of our staff and patients, and to enable you to carry out your role with confidence.
