Meet the team

  • Fiona Fettes

    Head of Support Services

Having been at Dee View Court since it opened in 2003 I have enjoyed lots of roles. I’ve been a Nurse, Head of Care, Centre Manager and am now Head of Support Services. I manage the housekeeping, catering and administration and maintenance teams. In my spare time I enjoy looking after my grandchildren.

  • Valerie Maxwell

    Centre Director

It’s my passion to ensure that people at Dee View Court receive the highest standard of care. I have nursed for 26 years both in the acute and Community settings as well as the third sector before joining Sue Ryder in October 2014. We are continually looking to improve and build on the services in and from Dee View Court, working closely with health and social care in Grampian. One of my interests is walking along the beach on a sunny day with my two dogs Poppy and Molly.

  • Vicky Robb

    5Rs Lead Facilitator

I have worked at Dee View as a staff nurse since 2011 and have enjoyed working with a diverse and charming bunch of residents and carers over the years. I have always loved the homely yet professional way that we work and the facilities that are available to the residents here. The 5Rs project is a free support service for adults that suffer from MS. I am very much enjoying the role and meeting all the therapists and participants that are going to be involved. In my spare time I love to take my daughter to the park and baking cakes.

  • Yvonne Still

Hi! I have worked as cook in Dee View Court for 12 years. My role is to plan the menus along with the residents ensuring their needs are met. I like to make sure people enjoy their food so my daily routine changes regularly to suit the needs of the residents.

  • Julie Schoullar

    Practice Educator

I am the Practice Educator at Dee view court. I started work with Sue Ryder in 2010 as a staff Nurse. I previously worked as a manager working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. I ensure that all staff and volunteers have appropriate training for the roles that they have with us. I love training and teaching and am passionate about staff having the knowledge they need to be able to deliver an excellent standard of care. I love football, rock concerts and good food!

  • Jacqueline Carroll

    Head of Care

I manage a dedicated team of Senior Nurses, nurses and health care support workers. I also manage a great recreational therapy team, physiotherapy team and educational lead.  I am passionate about delivering high quality care for our residents and their families within Dee view court.  When not at work I enjoy dining out and going to the cinema.

  • Michelle Allison

    Activities Supervisor

I am passionate about ensuring that people are encouraged to lead a fulfilled lifestyle by engaging in therapeutic activities that they value and enjoy. I am part of a team of staff and volunteers who assist and enable people to take part in and pursue recreational activities that are meaningful to each. When I have some free time I enjoy spending it with family and friends and walking or running with my dog. I love football, rock concerts and good food!

What people say about our care

Sometimes I join art and craft workshops even if I am a terrible painter! It's good to have a choice about what you can do during the day
